HOUSE OF NISIAN is more than a luxury brand—it is an odyssey through the senses, a passage into worlds unseen, where fragrance, jewelry, and curated objects become keys to the unconscious.
Each box is designed as a sensory catalogue of its own that follows the five stages of the anesthetic experience. Here you will find a collection of rare objects, atmospheres, images, scents, and substances that guide one into what we call the House of Nisian.
From Healing to Dream to Design
THE ANESTHETIST: GHAZAL ZAMANI (FOUNDING DIRECTOR)
Our story begins with a path of many dimensions. From the medical fields of anesthesiology to the artistry of taste and visual design, Nisian's founder Ghazal Zamani brings an elegant mixture of worlds to this creative endeavor.

2007-2016
Nurse Anesthetist
Tehran, Iran
Born and raised in Iran, she spent years working as a nurse anesthetist, mastering the delicate science of painlessness in her country's leading operating rooms. Here the secret pharmacology passed down for thousands of years inspired her work in health care. But in 2016, she left the medical field, drawn toward a different kind of transformation—one found in flavors, aromas, and textures.
The journey toward the concept
2017-2019
Professional Chef
Montreal, Canada
In 2017, she pursued a new degree at the French culinary university in Montreal to become a professional chef. After years of intensive study, she obtained positions at both the most refined classical restaurant in the city (Ristorante Beatrice) and at the most experimental establishment for new cuisine among other award-winning chefs (Pastel). The sensory poetry of gastronomy and nutrition therefore became a new language from which to decode the experiences of calm, euphoria, and tranquility.
2019-2022
Event Design
Malaga, Spain
In 2019, she moved to southern Spain, where she studied and trained in a further area of event design. Here she worked along the Mediterranean to stage singular occasions that combined visual decor and storytelling to create atmospheres. This interest in space, image, and ambiance culminated in her being the central design lead for a featured exhibit at the Venice Biennale.

MBA, Nisian Founded
Boston, MA, USA
In 2023, she came to the city of Boston in the United States to obtain her MBA from Babson College with a unique specialization in entrepreneurship in order to launch her own product line called House Of Nisian.​
THE PASSWORD
Thus, NISIAN [ni-see-an] was born. Rooted in the ancient Persian word for “forgetting”, Nisian refers to a state of vanishing that blurs the lines between presence and void, reality and illusion.
Five Stages of Oblivion
Each HOUSE OF NISIAN collection guides the recipient through an immersive experience, a falling-below inspired by the five stages of anesthesia:

Induction. The first drift into the unknown, a soft surrender and the erasure of pain.

What makes HOUSE OF NISIAN such an original and elaborate gift is that each curated item (perfume, jewelry, candles, cosmetic oils, mirrors, dream Journal, artisanal pieces) is inspired by the close research of actual scientific traditions in anesthesia that reach back for millennia.

We have studied the long-lost practices of ancient Egypt, Rome, Persia, Greece, China, Japan, and other civilizations. We have taken their diagrams, ingredients, symbols, and secret writings to bring together new fusions of:
